We're part of a team, on board of a supply vassel, that will be in charge to recovery a european spacecraft after splash-down.
Our route will be from HP land, toward CJ83KM locator where the November 18th or 19th the splash down it's planned. We'll cross several wet square of  the EJ, DJ and CJ fields During that trip (and return) we'll be active on HF and 6m (only on international waters!).
On 50Mhz, we'll running ssb and cw, 100w into a 3.9m long Ringo or dipole, not much, but you never know...

PJ7 - Sint Maarten - 13.10.14


Jeff, K5WE will be active as PJ7/K5WE from Sint Maarten (NA-105) starting October 25th through November 2nd. Activity will be on 80-6 meters, mostly CW and some RTTY and some SSB in the CQWW DX SSB Contest (October 25-26th). Logs will be uploaded daily to ClubLog, and to LoTW shortly after his return home. Jeff states that he will be trying out a new antenna for 30 meters, and hopes to have a better signal on 30m than with the dipoles on previous trips. QSL via his home callsign, or via ClubLog's OQRS request.


VP5 - Caicos Is. - 11.10.14

Look for VP5/WA2VYA (mainly CW on the low bands, as well as on 30, 17, 12, 10 and 6 metres), VP5/K4QE and VP5/WA3RHW (both mainly SSB on 17 and 12 metres) to be active  from Providenciales, Caicos Islands (NA-002) on 21-28 October. QSL VP5/WA2VYA and  VP5/WA3RHW via home calls (direct or bureau), QSL  VP5/K4QE via LoTW. They will participate in the CQ WW DX SSB Contest as VP5T (QSL via WA3RHW, direct or bureau, and LoTW).


 

VK9X - Christmas Is - 13.10.14

A Polish team of operators will be active as VK9XSP from Christmas Island (OC-002) between October 18-31st.
Operators mentioned are Bob/SP2EBG, YL Gala/SP2GKS, Jan/SP3CYY, Jurek/SP3GEM, Wlodek/SP6EQZ, Ryszard/SP6FXY, Janusz/SP6IXF and Roman/SP9FOW.
Activity will be on 160-6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. Suggested frequencies are are listed in OPDX.1168. They will have two to three stations on the air 24 hours a day, and pay a special attention to the lower bands and to areas where VK9X is the most difficult to work from.
