Activity will be on the HF bands and 6 meters, using CW, SSB, RTTY and PSK31. His equipment is an ICOM IC-7000 into end-fed antenna for 20m and dipoles for 40m and 15m, and a vertical for 6m. Operators San/K5YY (V31YY), Bill/W5SJ (V31SJ) and Bob/W5UQ (V31UQ) will be active from Placencia (Grid EK56) in south Belize between July 12-19th. Activity will be on the HF bands, but also focused on the CQ VHF Contest. They plan to look for EU and AS during the week of operation, but also for USA stations that might need a new band country. IZ4AMS Alessandro will be operative from 13th to 17th May from Sveti Nikola Is. IOTA EU-110, WLOTA LH-3152 as "9A/IZ4AMS".
A team of Czech operators will activate the Turkish Island of Suluada (IOTA AS-115) in the Mediterranean Sea using the special callsign TC07DX between May 15-19th. Operators mentioned are: Pavel/TA2ZAF (OK1MU), Vlada/OK1CW, Franta/OK1DF, Zdenek/OK1FIA, Slavek/OK1TN, Zdeno/OK2ZW and Honza/OK2ZAW. The group will have two stations on the air using CW and SSB, with some planned hours of operation on RTTY. Radio equipment to be used are: two IC-746PRO and two TS-480SAT with two 800W amps. Antennas are: 5 band Spiderbeam, multiband vertical AV-640, loops for 30/40m, 2 elements on 50 MHz HB9CV and trapped dipole for 20/15/10 meters. DL88/89 Grid Activation Group Big Bend National Park

Here is the basic schedule of events:
June 28--N5YA and K5QE drive to Big Bend National Park. We will be roving as we go, making as many contacts as possible. Antenna will be a loop. Call will be K5QE/R. QRG = 50.150MHz SSB. K5YG and N5OMG drive to the Park from the New Orleans area. June 29--Drive to DL88 and set up camp. We expect to be operational by about Noon....give or take. June 30--Operate from DL88. July 1--Operate from DL88 until about 3PM. Break camp and drive out of the park. K5YG and N5OMG return home. July 2--N5YA and K5QE will operate from DL89wx. This will be a daytime operation only. July 3--N5YA and K5QE drive home, roving as we go. Call will be K5QE/R on 50.150MHz. While in DL88 and DL89, we will operate on 50.150MHz SSB/CW. If the band is "dead" for Es, we will operate FSK441(First Sequence always), also on 50.150MHz. This is the same frequency we used in EL58. Because of the battery power problem, we may not be able to operate all night long on MS. We may have to conserve battery power by shutting down in the late evening and charging both our battery packs. In any case, we intend to be on MS in the early AM hours.
JTRG will be conducting a DXpedition and activating a US Island (FL479S) from within the cold-war bomb shelter built for President John F. Kennedy on Peanut Island! Buried underground and encased by lead, concrete and rebar, the DX operating stations will be positioned inside the bunker. However, much like the communications prior to the threat of a nuclear attack, we'll be reaching out to the world as W4K! In addition the bunker, we'll also operate from the Coast Guard Museum and boat house as well. Our club station will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of The Aerospace Corporation on June 4th. The club station will be activated from 1400-2400Z (8:00 am to 6:00 pm Mountain Daylight Time). Operating frequencies will be on or around 50.150, 28.450, 14.250, and 7.250. A certificate to commemorate the event is being designed now and will be provided to all stations that QSL.
Friday July 2 through Sunday July 11, 2010 the OKC DX CLUB (KX5T) will be celebrating the peak of the Summer Sporadic E Season, operating for ten days under the 1x1 special event call sign W5E. Operations will be on 6 and 10 Meters, SSB only. Frequencies will be 50.150 and 28.425 +/- 20KHz.
9H3MK - Markus, OH1MN will be visiting the island of Malta. (IOTA EU-023, MIA MM-001, WLOTA LH-1113) from 19th June to 3rd July, 2010. Special Event Station W1W 6M Grid Activator FN51aw Date: June 20th till June 26th Operators: Walter W1ATV and Dave KE1AV We will be operating from Paine's Campground in South Wellfleet, MA. FS - St. Martin FS/K9EL Activity at French St. Martin I will be in French St Martin June 8-17, 2010 on a family vacation and will be operating whenever possible. DK2ZF - EME on Pacific
After his trip to OH0, Rolf will be active from south/east Pacific on 3 bands EME (6m, 2m and 70cm). Rolf, DK2ZF, together with an other well known Ham will try to be active from mid of September until november, 6th, 2010 from the s/e pacific. The callsings and exact locator is still unknown yet, but the flights are booked! If somebody is interested to join the trip, he(she) is very welcome to call Rolf!
