CU - Azores Isl. - 6.16.11

 

A DL Team (DM1AC, DM1CG, DL9MS) will be active holiday style from CU2 (HM77ct) on HF and 6m ES and as well 2m EME/TEP LATEST NEWS from Joachim, DL9MS, dated 2011-06-15:
The Call of the expedition "CR2EME" is now confirmed. QSL will be via DL9MS!

F - France - 6.16.11

 

Robin M5AEF, writes; F/M5AEF IN98op Robin will again be perating QRP from Normandy (dept 50) 14-19th June. This operation co-incides nicely with the IARU region 1 contest! QRV daily on 50 MHz USB/CW above 50.200. Also JT6M and WSPR modes are available. QSL is via buro and LOTW.

GM - Scotland - 6.17.11

G0HIK, G3IZD, G3VUS and G7MRL will be active as GM0HIK (on 50, 70, 144 and 432 MHz) and GM3IZD (on the HF bands) from  Islay  (EU-008)from 25 June to 1 July. QSL via G0HIK and G3IZD respectively.

HB - Switzerland - 6.13.11

 

Peter, hb9qq (HB0QQ, 8Q7QQ atc.) passed away some days aga. our condolance to his family.

 

HR - Honduras - 6.15.11

 

HR9/WQ7R it's now active from Honduras also on 6m; no more info available until now. He has many cw qsos.


J6 - St. Lucia - 6.20.11

 

Howard, WB4WXE, will be active as J68HS from St. Lucia Island (NA-108) between June 25th and July 15th. Activity will be on 160/40/17/12/6 meters. QSL via his home callsign.

KH0 - Mariana Is. - 6.17.11

Look for AH0CE (JE3NRO), KH0/KC2ZSG (JA3AQW), KH0K (JE4SMQ), KH0UY (JO3FRH), KH0XD (JO3RKP) and WH0/WU2K (JA3TMM) to  be  active  from Saipan (OC-086) on 24-26 June. OH - Finland - 6.19.11

 

OH5LID will be active on 2, 4 and 6m on Aug. 11th from the rarw grid KP51.

TY - Benin - 6.20.11

 

A group of operators are planning to activate Grand Popo, Benin, between August 5-14th. They have the licenses in their hands and all the other permissions to enter and operate. Callsign will be TY1KS. Operators mentioned are Salvador/EA3QS, Giorgio/IZ4AKS, Fabri/ IW3SQY, Francesco/IZ8GCE and Antonello/IT9YVO. Their DXpedition experiences are: 1A3A, 1A4A, 3A, 3B8, 3B9, 5R8KS, C31CT, E44M, HV5PUL, T70A, T70DXC, UK8AXA and others locations. Activity will be on all HF bands and 6 meters, using 3 three Elecraft K3s, and two Elecraft KPA500 new solid state amplifier. Due to the high demand for this country, the focus will be on the lower bands and the Digital modes, but also SSB and the higher band will be well worked especially during the TEP openings. VU - India - 6.20.11

 

From a msg passed in HF to some Italian Hams, Bharati, VU2RBI, inform that she wil be active on 6m, on daily basis, testing 6m propagations.
