IT9X and I8EMG beacons
reports from JN26MM.

T9X e
I8EMG beacon report da JN26MM.
Entrambi i beacon sono molto vicini,
JM78SG and JM89BJ (circa 130 km tra
di loro). Anche le loro frequenze sono
molto prossime ed e' possibile ascoltare
entrambi i segnali senza cambiare
frequenza al ricevitore.
JN26MM e' distante con IT9X , 1256 KM,
QTF 134° - I8EMG, 1189 km, QTF 128
°.
Durante le precedenti aperture di Es in
aprile e maggio ho notato alcune cose
interesanti circa le loro condizioni di
salto,. IT9X era ascoltabile S9, ma nulla
arrivava da I8EMG ; pochi minuti dopo era
l'opposto: I8EMG era 59 e nulla giungeva
da IT9X. Poi entrambi i beacon furono
ascoltabilei nello stesso istante con
rapporti differenti: S9 per il primo, S5
per il secondo, etc, etc…
Questa mattina (11 Maggio) c'erano
delle riflessioni MS molto buone (sciame
delle Zeta Hercules o Eta Pegasis) su
entrambi i beacon.Fu interessante
ascoltare loro molte volte, IT9X and, e
mezzo secondo dopo, I8EMG, oppure entrambi
i segnali nello stesso secondo con
differente QRK's.
Con questo possiamo trarre una
conclusione: il salto ES o MS sono molto
vicini tra loro ed in un circolo di 50/100
km, noi possiamo non lavorare la stessa
stazione, tranne quando l'ES ie' molto
forte e ampio. Questa e' la verita'? Io
non lo so!

Both beacons are very close, JM78SG

signals at the same time, without changing
the receiving frequency.
JN26MM is apart with IT9X , 1256 KM,

During the previous april and may ES
openings, I notice interesting comments
about the skip conditions. IT9X was heard
S9, nothing from I8EMG ; a few minutes
later, it was the opposite: I8EMG was 59
and nothing from IT9X. Then, both beacons
were heard at the same time with different
reports: S9 for the first one, S5 for the
second one, etc, etc…
This morning (May 11th) they were good
MS reflections (Zeta Hercules or Eta
Pegasis showers) on both beacons. It was
amusing to here several times, IT9X and,
half a second after, I8EMG, or both
signals during the same second with
different QRK's.
From that, we can draw a conclusion: ES
and MS layers are very narrow and in a
50/100 km circle, we are not working the
same stations, except when the ES is very
strong and wide. Is it true ? I don't know
!
